In addition to our locations all around Japan, Ooyama has established overseas offices in China (Ooyama (Shanghai) Precision Machinery Co., Ltd.) and Vietnam (Ooyama Vietnam Co., Ltd.) which are permanently staffed by experienced personnel. This allows us to smoothly procure local parts based on strict quality standards, and in accordance with customer requirements. We implement high standards of quality control through local quality audits and pre-shipment inspections, as well as re-inspection in Japan.
Our overseas locations have veteran sales staff who have worked at Ooyama for a long time and understand our high-quality standards. They are able to smoothly coordinate complex requests.
Overseas procurement tends to require a large production volume to save the cost of transport; however keeping inventory at Ooyama allows you to receive products in smaller volumes on an as-needed basis. Importing products through consolidated deliveries with other customers’ items cuts unnecessary costs and allows for small production lots.
Ooyama takes care of all the complicated procedures associated with importing, such as duscussions and customs clearance, on your behalf. This reduces the burden on your procurement personnel and facilitates smooth transactions.
Inspections conducted at Ooyama’s overseas locations prevent undesired shipment of non-conforming products. The products also undergo re-inspection and quality assurance processes in Japan with Ooyama’s comprehensive inspection equipment. And if something goes wrong, we will take responsibility for dealing with it.
